Arthur H. LeBlanc, 74, of Memramcook East, died Monday (11 octobre ) at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Dorchester, he was a son of the late Honoré S. and Zélica (Gaudet) LeBlanc. He had been a corrections officer for 25 years in Dorchester prior to retirement, was a member of Memramcook Branch 89, Royal Canadian Legion, and attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. He was also a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marguerite Saulnier; three daughters, Mrs. Guy Ouellette (Ella) of Dieppe, Mrs. Jean Bourgeois (Anne) of Grande-Digue and Lyne of Dartmouth; three sons, Gilles of Shediac, Jeffrey of Memramcook East and Jean-Marc of Dieppe; two sisters, Mrs. Géraldine Young and Mrs. Dorilla Léger, both of Dieppe; four brothers, Marcel, Honoré and Roméo, all of Memramcook, and Camille of Rindge, N.H.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie, and four brothers, Léonard, Zoël, Fred and Eugène.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral service will be celebrated today at 8 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
